Darts in St. Louis

There are several associations in the Metro Area
holding regular steel-tip leagues, most of which are
members of the American Darts Organization (ADO),
the sport's governing body in the United States.  These
local associations are :

Mississippi Valley Darting Organization (MVDO)
   The MVDO is the largest steel-tip league in Missouri,
   and attracts teams from the entire St. Louis region.

Blueberry Hill Dart League (BHDL)
   There are a number of in-house leagues held at Joe
   Edwards' famed establishment in University City.

Southern Illinois Dart Association (SIDA)
   The SIDA covers the Metro East area in Illinois.

St. Charles Dart League (SCDL)
   The SCDL is centered on the city of St. Charles, MO,
   just west of St. Louis.

These leagues have organized many ADO-sanctioned
tournaments over the years, with the Midwest Summer
Classic and Blueberry Hill Open still held annually.  In
addition, there are many smaller-non-ranked events
staged during the course of the year.

There are also several soft-tip leagues, including a number of in-house leagues.  In addition, there are some locally based divisions of regional and national soft-tip leagues, such as the American Darters Association (ADA) and Play-Mor.
